This fall floral trend couldn’t be more ideal. I feel like I’m able to justify any floral print purchase because it feels so financially responsible. I’m not just buying for one short season… this trend can take me right into spring and summer too! This is what I like to call guilt-free shopping… and a great response for if/when my husband sees my shopping bag before I can hide it. But I didn’t even think twice about needing to dispose of this shopping evidence because the pants I’m wearing are only $15?! I actually would’ve felt justified buying these babies even if they had snowflakes or pumpkins all over them. I’m basically wearing 3 cups of Starbucks coffee on my legs. #shoppingmath
I also love pairing unexpected colors together right now like this blush + green combo. I think it’s so feminine and chic! If you have a good blush top/sweater like the one I’m wearing, you can most probably shop in your own closet to make a fashion statement of your own. Surely you have some sort of bold colored bottoms in your closet (think emerald or hunter green, red, fuchsia, burgundy, royal blue). If not, lest not forget the pants I’m wearing here are only $15 and my sweater is just $35. Click the pics below to shop this outfit!
I’ve also included a few links to some current trends on my wish list! First on the list is a good cape coat. I actually already ordered the plaid one below, so it’s really on my wish-it-would-arrive-tomorrow-list. Next up is a silky scarf; such a cute and light-weight alternative to a thick scarf since the average San Antonio winter temp is 83 degrees. You can also tie the scarf on your wrist or your purse handle if you’re feeling too flighty attendant-ish with it around your neck (but truthfully I love when I look flight-attendant-ish! ha!). Third, I NEED a beret! You do too. It’s time to channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw! (I loved every single outfit in the final episodes when she moved to Paris for like 5 minutes). Last on the list: KITTEN HEELS! And this isn’t just because I’m an unapologetic cat lady. It’s an actual thing and I’m really excited about it. Chasing my toddler just got way easier, and your feet can thank me later. Ciao!
